ELC AMEP offers a range of flexible employment and career related training courses. Some of these are available to learners as part of their AMEP entitlement while others are offered to learners when they have completed the AMEP as a pathway to employment.
Pathways to Employment and Training(SLPET)
This course provides workplace English, training in vocational areas such as Business Communication, Community Services and Hospitality; job search skills development and a work experience placement. It is offered for AMEP eligible learners who are active job-seekers and have completed 75% of their entitlement or are close to achieving functional English. Job search support for learners is also provided after the completion of the course. Funding is provided by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training.
First Aid Training - Senior/Intermediate First Aid through Australian Red Cross. Offered within AMEP at CSWE 3 level
Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety - Offered within AMEP when there is demand
English for Driving Rules - Understanding the driving rules and guided practice in all aspects of the Learner's Permit test. Offered within AMEP, when there is demand

Financial Services (Certificate III) - Conducted by TAFESA Business Studies lecturers with English language support. (Offered post AMEP at CEP 4 level)
Child Studies (Certificate III) - Conducted by TAFESA Child Care lecturers with English language support. (Offered as part of Language Literacy & Numeracy Program CEP 4 level)
Interlink - Job search program with 1:1 support for skilled migrants and refugees ready to work in their field. (Offered post AMEP at ISLPR level 3-5)
